Tata Altroz Rivals: Tata Motors has expanded its premium hatchback lineup with the addition of two new variants, XM and XM (S). The price of which has been kept at 6.90 lakh and 7.35 lakh rupees respectively. The company has positioned these two variants between its XE and XM+ variants
Both these variants have been introduced by the company with new features, including an electric sunroof. Due to which this car has become the cheapest premium car with sunroof.
Tata Altroz Engine
Now the all-new variant will be available only with the 1.2l Revotron petrol engine, which is capable of producing 88.2 hp of power and 115 Nm of peak torque. It is only offered with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Features of Tata Altroz
The company has also made some changes in this new XM variant with steering mounted controls on the dash board, driver seat height adjuster, electrically operated ORVM, R16 full wheel covers to give it a premium feel. An electric sunroof has also been added to its XM (S) variant. Apart from this, the company is also offering a large 9-inch touch screen as an option.
Overall, the manual petrol is now offered as standard across all variants of the Altroz, along with all four power windows and remote keyless entry. Tata Altroz is the safest hatchback car in the country with a 5-star safety rating.
Who will fight?
This Tata car will compete with Hyundai i20, Hyundai Iten, Nios, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanz, Maruti Suzuki Swift in the domestic market.
