An aerial inspection was conducted by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on July 21 in which heavy rains have affected normal life in many districts of Saurashtra, talking about the districts of Saurashtra, Gir Somnath, Junagadh, Veraval, Mangrol and Ghed Panthak were lashed by rain.

Apart from Junagadh, the Chief Minister also received information about the rain situation through video conference with the Collectors of Porbandar, Gir Somnath, Bhavnagar, Rajkot and directed to provide immediate assistance as per the norms of the government by conducting an immediate survey of the damage to agriculture, crops and households in the affected areas.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel held a review meeting at Junagadh after aerial inspection of the heavy rain affected areas of Saurashtra and got the details of the work done by the district administration.
Thus, since the last two days, rains are lashing Gujarat, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Gujarat will see heavy rainfall in various districts till July 24.
Red alert has been given in Sabarkantha and Aravalli on 21st to 22nd, while orange alert has been given in Mehsana, Kheda, Mahisagar, Amreli and Bhavnagar. Subsequently, yellow alert has been given in Surendranagar, Ahmedabad, Botad, Anand, Vadodara, Panchmahal, Chotaudepur, Patan, Valsad and Gandhinagar. And in other districts green alert has been given i.e. no warning has been given.
As far as 22nd to 23rd date is concerned, no red alert has been given, in which orange alert has been given in Kutch, Patan and Banaskantha, then yellow alert has been given in Jamnagar Devbhoomi Dwarka and Porbandar, and green alert has been given in other districts i.e. no warning has been given.

As for 23rd to 24th, red alert and orange alert have not been given in any district, but yellow alert has been given in Devbhoomi Dwarka and Porbandar, green alert has been given in other districts i.e. no signal has been given.
Apart from this, let us tell you that 55.30 percent of the season's rain has fallen in Gujarat so far. Out of which 19 talukas have received more than 100 percent rain, while 42 talukas have received more than 30 inches of rain. In which the maximum rainfall has been received in Visavdar of Junagadh district so far 62.68 percent.
